Connectivity Problems
Often times, there are error messages that occur when trying to view URLs. Below are a few samples of the kind of errors that may occur.
No DNS Entry
If you receive the message "There is no DNS entry for http://www.yourdomain.com", there are several possible explanations:
- Your domain name is either not active or not yet propagated thoughout the Internet.
For a NEW domain, it may take up to a week for the name to be released by InterNIC and propagated to DNSs (Domain Name Servers).
If it is an older domain that has previously been reachable, the name may be on hold with InterNIC.
You can check the status of your domain name by doing a "whois" at: http://whois.bw.org
If your domain name is on Hold, then Contact InterNIC directly to determine the reason the name is on hold. The Most likely reason is that the domain name has not been
paid for.
- If you know that others are able to reach the site with the domain name but you can't (even after clearing the Cache of your browser), contact your local ISP. They may
not have updated their DNS records.
- If you are still unable to reach it after all of these steps, contact support for assistance. Be sure to describe all the steps you have already taken.

I can see my homepage when connected to WT.net's Dialup connection but not through another provider.
This usually happens because of 2 things:
- Your Domain name has not been approved by Internic but we have already done the mapping for it.
- Your Domain name has been transferred from our DNS and we have not removed your Domain Name from our DNS servers.
